Tennis Pro explains program to Ocean Pines Kiwanis Club

OCEAN PINES–Tennis professional
Ron Kerchner recently talked to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean
City about the tennis programs and facilities in Ocean Pines.

Many of the Kiwanians were
not aware that the memberships and programs are open to the public. People from
Delaware are members and drive to the Pines to use the facilities, which
includes not only tennis but platform tennis and now the new popular game, pickle
ball, is being introduced.

The main facilities are
located off Manklin Road in the Manklin Meadows Tennis Center opposite The
Parke and include eight hard true courts, four hard courts, four platform
tennis courts and some of which are lined off for pickle ball, also.

Memberships of all types are
available to the public, in addition to residents, as are lessons and youth
tennis camps and other programs and events. For more information, call the
Ocean Pines Recreation and Parks Department at 410-641-7052.
