Lillian M. Hare

PITTSVILLE — Lillian M. Hare, age 90, died Wednesday, May 18, at Genesis Rehab in Salisbury. Born in Pittsville, she was the daughter of the late John J. Middleton and Lavenia Hamblin Middleton. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Ray Hare.

She had worked as an Auditor at Wicomico Hotel for many years until it closed. She then moved to Miami and worked as a clerk in the State’s Attorney’s Office.

She is survived by her niece, Shirley W. Records and her husband Richard; and her nephew, Raymond Earl White. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lewis Middleton and her sister Mary M. White.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 20, at Pittsville Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be sent to Ayres Methodist Church, Attn: Barbara Wooten, 34424 Workman Rd., Pittsville, MD 21850.  Arrangements were being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
