Frank Daniel Altobelli

BERLIN – Frank Daniel Altobelli, age 80, died peacefully at home in Monday, March 28, 2011.  Born in Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Thomas Altobelli and Domenica Repiti Altobelli. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn D. Altobelli.

Mr. Altobelli had a very broad career. After working as an FBI Agent for many years, he went on work for the Department of Transportation where he retired as a regional administrator. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church where he served as an usher, Past President of NARFE, Past President of Mended Hearts Salisbury Chapter and Past Vice President of the Sons of Italy.

Along with his wife he is survived by three sons, Frank D. Altobelli Jr. and his wife Kathryn, Mark T. Altobelli and his wife Kimberly and David L. Altobelli and his wife Desma; one daughter, Denise M. Altobelli and her husband Rod Titcomb; three step daughters, Margaret K. Wicker and her husband Wesley, Barbara S. Hardy and her husband Paul and Cynthia J. Schuster; two sisters, Madeline Ryan and her husband William and Grace Greene and her husband Don; 13 grand children; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Thomas Altobelli. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, April 1, at 1 p.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Ocean Pines. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Thomas Protack will officiate. Interment will be in Spring Hill Memorial Gardens in Hebron. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home.
