WILMINGTON, Del. – On Tuesday, March 1, 2011, Francis E. Kunst was reunited with his wife, Jeanne, on his journey home to the Lord. Born March 2, 1923, Fran was a WWII veteran, faithful Catholic, and an avid bingo player.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Jordan and his three grandchildren, Jessica and Jeff Shoemaker and Michelle Badger.
A Memorial Service was held at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church on March 5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Evergreen Alzheimer’s Day Treatment Program c/o Honey Woods RN, 3000 Newport Gap Pike, Building F, Wilmington DE 19808, Delaware Hospice or Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
