OCEAN CITY — Elaine Lucille Bunting, age 63, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 15. Born in Salisbury, she was the beloved daughter of the late William T. Bunting and Evelyn H. Bunting. She is survived by her brother Charles L. Bunting of Ocean City.
Bunting worked as a school librarian for the Hartford County School District. Upon retiring, she pursued her passion for reading and writing and was a published author of a series of children’s books. She was founding member of the Ladies Tea Society, and enjoyed the friendships it offered. Bunting was a devout Christian who touched the lives of many through the years and was a true friend to all, and eternal optimist who always had a smile on her face. She will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, at Emory United Methodist Church 911 Cherry Hill Rd, Street, MD.
