Berlin residents in Districts 1 and 2 arrive at Buckingham Presbyterian Church on South Main Street on Oct. 6 to vote in the municipal election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There were five candidates on the ballot for mayor: Jennifer Allen, Ron Bireley, Bill Todd, Zack Tyndall and incumbent Gee Williams. Jay Knerr and Tony Weeg ran for the at-large council seat, while Shaneka Nichols and Dan Packey competed for the District 3 council seat. Jack Orris ran unopposed for the District 2 council seat to replace Tyndall.
