(March 12, 2020) The Berlin Historic District Committee approved two sign requests during its monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 4.

The first sign request was granted to Christina Mullaney and Christine Carpenter of Beach Gypsy on Williams Street. Mullaney and Carpenter had just relocated their boutique and yoga store from Ocean Pines to Berlin in late January.

The second sign was approved for Patti Backer, who moved her art gallery and store, The Dusty Lamb Arts and Oddities, from its former location on Williams Street to 3 South Main Street on Saturday, Feb. 29.

Chairwoman Carol Rose welcomed both businesses to their new locations and expressed her desire to see both flourish in the town.
